Product Name: SWEETCUP Yuja GaDeuk (Korean Yuzu Concentrate Base)

Product Description: SWEETCUP Yuja GaDeuk is an all-in-one beverage concentrate that captures the fresh, zesty flavor and tangy charm of real yuzu grown and harvested in Korea. Formulated with high fruit pulp and a rich aromatic profile, this versatile liquid base solves your menu needs by allowing cafes and home baristas to easily create a wide variety of drinks—from refreshing citrus ades and smoothies to specialty iced tea blends—without needing separate base ingredients.

Yuzu is the citrus that customers cannot easily buy elsewhere, which is exactly why it works on a menu. It is aromatic rather than simply sour, closer to a cross between lemon and mandarin, and it carries a perfume that a lemon syrup cannot reproduce.

At 50% real Korean yuzu, this is a fruit content most citrus bases do not reach, and it shows in the aroma as soon as the bottle is opened. That concentration also means you can use less per drink than a weaker base, which partly offsets the higher fruit content.

Like honey grapefruit, yuja tea is traditionally drunk hot in winter and iced in summer, so it earns its place on the shelf year-round. Beyond cafes and bubble tea shops, this line is bought by bakeries and dessert shops, hotels and caterers, food trucks, central kitchens and food manufacturers, and by grocery and convenience retailers buying for resale or for their own prepared drink counters.

People Also Ask:

Q. How many drinks does one bottle of yuzu concentrate make?

A. About 30 at a 40g serving, so a case of six gives roughly 180 drinks. Because the fruit content is high, some cafés find they can dose slightly lower than with a weaker citrus base.

Q. What is the difference between yuzu and yuja?

A. They are the same fruit. Yuja is the Korean name and yuzu the Japanese one, and you will see both used in Canada. We use both on the page so customers searching either term find the product.

Q. What does yuzu taste like compared with lemon?

A. Yuzu is more aromatic and less purely sour than lemon, with a floral, mandarin like character alongside the acidity. That aroma is why it works in tea and in cocktails, where a lemon syrup would taste flat.

Q. How should it be stored?

A. Keep unopened bottles cool and out of direct sunlight. Once opened, refrigerate and reseal tightly, and shake before pouring, as the citrus pieces and juice separate naturally.

Q. How long will an opened bottle last?

A. Several weeks refrigerated and sealed. Yuja tends to sell in bursts around colder weather, so if it is a winter line for you, order to that season rather than holding it year round.

Q. Is it suitable for vegan customers?

A. The concentrate contains no dairy, so hot tea, ades and sparkling builds are suitable. Check the label regarding honey if that is a consideration for your customers.

Q. Does it contain caffeine?

A. No, the concentrate itself is a citrus base with no tea in it, so a yuja ade or hot yuja tea made with water is caffeine free. Building it on green or black tea will of course add caffeine.

Q. Can I use it in cocktails?

A. Yes, it works well in gin and soju based drinks and in non alcoholic mocktails, because the aroma survives dilution better than a lemon syrup. This makes it useful for venues serving both day and evening.

Q. What flavours pair well with yuzu?

A. Apple and Shine Muscat are the two strongest pairings, and both are in our range. A yuja and apple ade is a straightforward way to add a second menu item without adding a third product.

Q. How do I order, and is a sample available?

A. You can order from a single bottle, there is no case minimum. Buy any 3 bottles mix and match for 5% off, or any 6 for 10% off. Stocked in our Richmond warehouse, with daily Lower Mainland delivery, Vancouver Island service, Canada wide shipping and Cash & Carry pickup. We can arrange a sample for BC businesses so you can smell and taste the difference against your current citrus base.
